No Smoking Policy at The CNG Stadium

Last Friday we had a meeting with North Yorkshire Police and HBCC Licensing to review each of our home fixtures this season, what category match each was deemed and what levels of stewarding and security should be in place.

Last season a No Smoking Policy was adopted with an arrangement where people could pop outside the main gates for a cigarette under the supervision of a steward. This did cause some issues with people getting in to the ground that ought not to have and this raised concerns around safety and security.

It was agreed at last week's meeting that the No Smoking Policy would remain in place and that people would not be permitted to leave the ground for a smoke and then return inside the ground pre-match.

This will be in force pre-match and for the duration of the match.

We trust that all supporters both home and away will respect the No Smoking Policy.
